Local Photo Contest with $$$ prize for 1st place:
Winter 09/10 is just upon us, and if you’re like me, you’re going to need new gear.
Why not go back through your photos that you’ve taken over the last year and see if they can get you some money!
A small Portland, Oregon video productions company named Uncage the Soul Productions is running their 7th Annual Photo of the year contest . 100’s of photographers from all over the country will be submitting their best amateur photos.
Top photo takes home $500 dollars, and runners up will probably get some dope outdoor gear (although the exact gear has not been specified)
Entry fee is a paltry $15 dollars, and for that…you get to enter 5 of your most kick ass photos. Best of all, the proceeds go towards Multnomah Education Service District (MESD) Outdoor Program that helps kids discover nature and the outdoors at an early age. Chairman of the judging committee, John Waller, says he expects the competition this year to be the toughest of any year. Go here and enter if you think you have what it takes to win.
