Well boys and girls, it’s been an amazing winter so far. Tons of pow and epic days in the mountains. So good that surfing has been nowhere on my radar.
I did manage to go surfing a few weeks ago and noticed that i’ve pretty much lost all upper body strength…which is great given the 7.5′ @ 14 second, offshore, rock reef conditions i’m about to step to. Most of the guys going on this trip have been to Hawaii before. Luckily, we have some local connections too. But goddamn…this is probably gonna be some gnarly shiz! Bro.
We’re staying in some multi-million dollar house right in front of Pipe so that should pretty much be ridiculous. Rolling out there with an awesome crew of friends too. All of us are really good at surfing, drinking, fighting or all of the above. Don’t worry though…we got a big security deposit on the house just in case it catches on fire.

no broken nose. But I did break a fin and put a huge gouge in my board. I’ve been thrown to the reef more times than I can remember. On our way to honalulu tonight. I’m hoping Otter gets arrested and Kopafeel gets beat up. Clem’s gonna be hurtin tomorrow.

I found this picture of the day we got there on magic seaweed. This is pretty much what it looked like when we paddled out on Tuesday. So crazy to see that up close, i’m pretty sure we were all nearly crapping our pants. Great trip, i’m sure Ki and Shane will be bringing some of the photo’s to the site soon, but this gives a pretty good idea of how sick it was. It was a rad bachelor party, i think everybody had an amazing time, now we just have to do that every spring regardless of anybody getting married.
