Mens Pipe was pretty cool too. Dumont was ripped off no way a guy going 20 feet out should lose to a guy going 15. I don’t care what way he’s spinning.
Men’s snowboarding kind of boring same shit. ski ballet spin like a top.

I’m pretty much over professional snowboarding competitions. It’s full on become 80’s freestyle skiing except all their ramps have turned 90 degrees. STyle and boost never win shit anymore. Lame. I got a competition, it’s called “lets rip this pow field.” First to the bottom gets a PBR, we’ll so does last, but first gets to watch your bro come down, thats pretty rad.

My last thought on the X games. It’s all designed for shawn white and Tanner hall and whoever else name sells.
Boarder cross was crazy that course was long and no judging just jousting and speed.

I hear you on Dumont’s height, but he still had weak grabs compared to the duration of his tricks, and only had five hits spinning the same direction to Tanner’s seven huge hits spinning both ways, making it look fluid and easy. I have to agree with the judges on this one, that even though Simon went big, you have to have the technicality to bring ski pipe in the next direction. As for men’s pipe, man, some of those dude’s have to stop the ballerina arms trying to get those extra 180s or 3s in there, seriously, that shit looks awful. Somebody said it best up top-”80’s freestyle skiing on 90 degree ramps…” Not all of them of course, but there were a few like that.

I actually saw some kids rollerblading downtown in the cold ass cold last friday night…kids were seriously rollerblading! For fun! It was kinda rad to see, as they’re like the real bout it motherfuckers now…NOBODY rollerblades anymore, and these kids were out on a 34 degree friday night doing unnatural lui kangs and whirlibirdz and that weird crotch-grab pants-adjustment they’re always doing while they skate around…it was weird, but I actually didn’t hate rollerbladers for once…
skiing in a halfpipe is way better than sliding rails, but still lame…skiers should be cranking double daffies and bashing bumps…comeon…

snowboarding needs more boot grabbing. skiing is totally one upping us on that shit. soon as shitty pipe gets dug out, i’m gonna be doing nothing but boot grabs. rad thang is you can turtle up at the top and practice your whole run so before you drop in so you don’t miss a beat.

pipe @ acres didn’t look shaped at all yesterday rollin by, looks cut out and all they need to due is bring the shaper in and do up the transitions… has that brand new narrow look too.. can’t wait to get my 1 frontside airs in it and then wash out the rest my run..
