Holy crap there’s a lot of snow at Alpental.
There’s also a lot of holes, creeks, bumps, woop sections and worst of all, flatness. There’s some sections of bottom chair Alpy that are brutally flat with thigh deep snow–and i hit all of them.
We had to bail before top chair ever opened. The bottom was toast in about 30 mins. There weren’t too many people but when everyone is confined to a couple runs…it gets blown out quick.
Glad i dropped 4-fif and got my pass though…it’s gonna be a mad-house up there this weekend in the pass line. Everything should be open by sat.

Fun day indeed. It ended by about 10:45 though, with a group of old guys talking about all their injuries and sore knees. I’m not quite sold on the new lib tech, feels like its going to snap everytime i hit a bump.

I was stretching all night at work, trying to enable some chair 2 riding today… just being annoying guy, stretching all the time, but yo i was pained… so yeah I had to semi-jog for the bus and it sorta hurt a bit, that was lame… got off the bus at the bottom of my hill, calling people like “yo I think I’m riding tomorrow get ready it’s gonna be sick I’m sick you’re sick we’re sick.” By the time I was at my apartment, I was hobbling…almost crawling. Walking uphill was slightly aggrivating, we’ll say… Fuckin hurts a whole bunch. Wack. Gonna try tomorrow though LOL
fuckin bomb holes gotta be gone by now…
and the welts from all the whippy trees across my face are getting better…

Go to Stevens. They have lots of rails, i know Duke of Delridge likes the rails. They compliment his skate-influenced street stylings. Bomb holes are still gonna be there anyways.

old man injuries in full effect!
that shit was killing me bout 1/4 way down the 1st run.. so out of shape and crusty these days..
however, todays skiacres beat down with cold pow was the shiz… srsly.
